Ah Amália Living Experience – Marvila Warehouses

Ah Amália Living Experience is an immersive biographical experience about the life and work of Amália Rodrigues, housed in the former Abel Pereira da Fonseca warehouses in Marvila, near Poço do Bispo. According to the press, it opened in Lisbon in 2024, produced by SP Entertainment in collaboration with the Amália Rodrigues Foundation; the official website does not give the date. It combines material and intangible heritage, set design, interactive content and technology: a 360-degree projection on the fado singer's life and career, a virtual-reality film about her love of nature, and a full-scale hologram on stage of a performance at the Olympia in Paris. The content is in Portuguese and English, except for the musical numbers, which are heard in the original version. The official page announces that the experience closes in Lisbon and goes on tour around Portugal and the world, without giving a closing date or the next venues, so it is advisable to confirm that it is open before visiting. An adult ticket costs 20 euros and there are reduced rates for young people, seniors, families and people with reduced mobility; children under seven go free.
