Tagus Park – Arboreto and Vasco da Gama Bridge Viewpoints

In the Lisbon section of Tagus Park, riverside paths alternate with small artificial hills opening views across the estuary and Vasco da Gama Bridge. The areas identified as Arboreto and the bridge viewpoint belong to this landscape of paths, lawns and trees created during the eastern waterfront’s transformation for Expo 98. Views follow the water, the bridge’s length and the relationship between the city and the Trancão River. This entry brings together nearby viewing places in the same park rather than treating them as separate monuments. The walk can continue along Parque das Nações’ waterfront paths.
