Alvito Recreation Park Viewpoint

Alvito Recreation Park offers views of Lisbon’s surroundings from Monsanto’s southern slope. The viewpoint adds to the interest of a park designed by Keil do Amaral in the 1950s and subsequently refurbished while retaining its relationship between paths, green areas and leisure facilities. Picnic areas, playgrounds and an amphitheatre form part of the grounds. Views can be enjoyed during a walk through the park’s paths and rest areas. The viewpoint lies inside the recreation park and follows its gate opening arrangements; it is separate from outdoor viewing stops along Estrada do Alvito.
