Monte Agudo Viewpoint

Set on the hillside between Anjos and Penha de França, Monte Agudo Viewpoint provides a pedestrian connection between Rua Heliodoro Salgado and Rua Ilha do Príncipe. Created in the 1950s, the garden combines a pergola, shaded areas and a tile panel identifying the landscape. Its outlook is mainly towards northern and western Lisbon, showing a different city from the familiar waterfront panoramas. The terraces and connecting paths are part of the experience of this neighbourhood space. The viewpoint has gates and its own opening hours, so visits must take place while the garden is open.
