Jardim António Nobre, better known as São Pedro de Alcântara Garden, occupies two levels on the western hillside above Baixa. From the upper terrace, the view takes in Castle Hill, Mouraria, Martim Moniz and the river, facing the Graça and Senhora do Monte viewpoints. A tile panel helps identify the buildings in sight. The lower garden contains geometric flowerbeds and busts, with stairs linking the different levels. Its position beside Bairro Alto and the top of Calçada da Glória makes it a natural stop on a walk through central Lisbon. Access to the garden is independent of the Glória funicular.
