Vasco da Gama Tower Viewpoint – Parque das Nações

Built for Expo 98, the Vasco da Gama Tower once again welcomes visitors to its panoramic viewpoint at the northern end of Parque das Nações. The ascent leads to a viewing space 145 metres high, overlooking the Tagus waterfront, the layout of the former exhibition site and the Vasco da Gama Bridge. It provides a way to understand the transformation of eastern Lisbon and the relationship between its gardens, buildings and the estuary. QR codes on the dome’s windows offer stories and information about Portugal and the places in view. Daytime admission to the viewpoint has its own ticket and opening hours, separate from the Babylon 360º bar’s evening operation. Access is beside the MYRIAD by SANA hotel on Rua Cais das Naus.
